My name is Ms. Hanks and I am so pleased to announce that I will be working as a Year 2 teacher at SBS this coming year.
I was born in Wales which is located in the United Kingdom. I come from quite a large family -I have 4 siblings (3 older sisters and one younger brother) and am an auntie to 9 children!
I especially love to visit the beautiful beaches that we have here and spending time with friends.
I am incredibly excited to meet all of the wonderful children who will be in my class come September. I cannot wait to start our learning journey together and I know that we are going to have lots of fun along the way.
I graduated from the University of Central Lancashire with a BA (Hons) in ‘Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages with Spanish’. I then completed a one year school-centered teacher training course. Upon graduating, I moved to London with my husband where we both worked as teachers!
I have now lived in Dubai since 2020 and have loved every moment.
