About Me

My wife and I were both born in South Africa and love where we are from. This being said, we have loved living in the UAE where we have been able to travel during the holidays and experience new cultures. Istanbul is a firm favourite.
I like playing padel tennis and squash, I enjoy hiking and camping and often find myself playing chess online. I love problem solving and was involved in the setting of the South African Mathematics Olympiad.

My Experience

After graduating from university with a mathematics degree I spent three years in the corporate world involved with programming, big data and management consulting. During this time, I could not deny the pull towards education and exchanged the office desk for the classroom. I spent 6 wonderful years at a school in Johannesburg before deciding to pursue the adventure of teaching overseas in the UAE with my wife at the end of 2021.
