My name is Laurie Elder and I am from Glasgow, Scotland. Growing up, I knew I wanted to see the world and seized every opportunity to travel to some remarkable and beautiful countries. This in turn led me to Dubai in 2010 where I have been ever since.
When I am not in school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. When the weather is nice, I particularly like being outdoors and going for long walks.
Qualification: Business Management at the University of the West of Scotland | Bachelor of Education – Primary Teaching – University Strathclyde
I am passionate about creating opportunities for learners to develop thinking skills, reasoning and problem solving skills. I believe these skills not only benefit them in the classroom but also in everyday life.
