After gaining my degree in Creative Advertising at university and then, completing the obligatory year backpacking around the world, I then began a career in the hospitality industry.
Working originally in a hotel in London for three years, I still had the need to travel which lead me to the Hilton in Abu Dhabi as the Marketing and PR manager. There I met my husband and after having two children I decided it was time for a new chapter in my career.
I gained my Cache Level 3 qualification in supporting teaching and learning in the classroom. Although it was very challenging I enjoyed learning and being a student again myself.
Teaching is a career change for me. I originally started to work in the school because the hours fitted in around my two children, but soon I realised what a difference a teacher can make in a child’s life and I was hooked.
Three Years ago I was offered the opportunity to become the schools Registrar which I jumped at. Meeting new parents and getting the chance to show them the new and improved Safa. Helping families become part of our Safa family.,
It is a very busy and challenging role but also very rewarding.
