I am a passionate EYFS teacher with over 10 years of experience, facilitating meaningful play, observing interactions and really laying the foundations for a wonderful education. I want pupils in my care to be safe, have fun and be fully engaged in the learning opportunities around them. I will provide a classroom environment where pupils feel valued and a part of a team. I want every pupil to love coming to school and know that they are capable of great things when they put their mind to it!
I met my husband here in Dubai and we now have two young daughters together, who keep us very busy! In the holidays, we try to visit family in both Wales and Australia. I am lucky to have a great group of friends here in the sandpit also, we all arrived to start our Dubai teaching adventure at the same time and have been lucky enough to remain friends since. Weekends are busy entertaining little ones, lots of time at the beach or pool and finding new places to eat out in this wonderful city!
I joined GEMS Wellington Academy in 2012 as an FS teacher and then moved to Latifa School for Girls in 2016. I lead Science and was the EYFS Phase Leader during some of my time there.
I joined the SBS family as a supply teacher in September 2021, before becoming a permanent member of the teaching staff.
