Amina El Sawaf

I have been enjoying working in Safa since 2015 along with developing my teaching skills throughout my journey.

About Me

I moved to Dubai in October 2010 with my husband; I had my first daughter in March 2012 then my second in June 2020. In my spare time, I spend my time with my daughters, going to the park, baking, or watching movies.

My Experience

BscChemical Engineering I PGCert in Inclusion and Special Educational Needs

I grew up in Alexandria, a city on the north coast of Egypt, where I completed a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering at Alexandria University. I then worked in Veolia Environmental Services for a year until I moved to Dubai with my husband. Over the past 5 years, I have been working in Safa and supporting students from different year groups as a Teaching Assistant in class and a Learning Support in the LINK Department. I always knew teaching was where my heart belonged and so I decided to pursue this dream and completed my PGCert in Inclusion and Special Educational Needs at the University of Birmingham, Dubai. I really look forward to my new role in secondary school.
