My name is Tara King and I am thrilled to be joining Safa British School as a new FS1 teacher.
When I’m not in the classroom, you will find me keeping fit in the gym, buried nose- deep in a new book or busy planning my next trip – I love to travel to new places, sample local delicacies and learn about different cultures.
I am so excited to start a new chapter at Safa British School. Here’s to an upcoming journey of laughter, curiosity and endless possibilities!
I was born in and lived in Dubai, until moving to Sheffield, UK when I was eight years old. It was there that I completed my Bachelor’s degree (and picked up my northern accent!) before furthering my studies by completing a PGCE in London. I am happy to be back in a place that I call home.
After teaching in the UAE for nine years, I hope to being a wealth of experience and knowledge to my new role at SBS. Throughout my teaching career, I have had the privilege of teaching in FS2 and Year 1 and I am very excited to begin a new adventure in FS1!
