I understand the importance of making learning fun and enjoyable as well as ensuring it caters for all learners. I am looking forward to working collaboratively with the children, parents and staff to develop the social, emotional and intellectual wellbeing of the children and to ensure they have engaging and rewarding learning experiences at Safa British School.
I am from the city of Belfast in the North of Ireland. I graduated from St Mary’s University College in 2012 with first class honours in Bachelor of Education. During my time in St Mary’s, I availed of every opportunity to teach and work abroad, completing an Erasmus course in the Netherlands and working with children during the Summers in America.
Following university, I travelled to Qatar where I completed my NQT year. I thoroughly enjoyed working in enriched and diverse environments. I was eager to embrace new circumstances and unexpected challenges which made my decision to move to Dubai an easy one. I have been in Dubai since 2015 and have had experience in teaching in outstanding schools in both Ireland and in Dubai.
