Rebecca Colling

My secondary school French teacher first sparked my passion for language learning. As such, I continued to study languages until I graduated from Northumbria University with a first-class honour’s degree in French and Business in 2015. As part of my degree, I studied at the Université de Bourgogne in Dijon, France and worked in a small tourist resort in the Northern French Alps.

After graduating,I worked in an account management role for 5 years before starting my career in teaching. In 2021 I graduated from The University of York with a PGCE in French and Spanish, and since then, I have taught French in two UK secondary schools. I find teaching very rewarding and one of my favourite aspects of the job is the positive relationships you build with the inspiring students in the classroom.
