There are plenty to choose from but a memorable moment is when I notice my students having that ‘light bulb moment’ as they learn and bridge connections between their learning. I also love when students can apply their classroom learning to practical events on field trips.

About Me

Aside from teaching I love exploring new cultures and learning new languages, Arabic being one I hope to master in the UAE. I enjoy discovering and exploring new landscapes, sights and keeping active, all fuelled by a love for different world cuisine and cooking new recipes at home.

My Experience

My upbringing in my formative years, unknowingly, shaped my passion for geography, especially human geography. By having a global upbringing and cross continental first hand experiences that were very contrasting, I questioned what caused such differences in the world. I embarked on a degree in Development and International Relations in an effort to find answers. After graduating I volunteered abroad in the teaching sector and found my passion being in the classroom. I then worked in school cover and staff operations before completing my PGCE in 2022. I am passionate about ensuring students receive a well rounded education that sparks their curiosities, nurtures their minds and equips them with the tools to be the next generation of global citizens.
