In August 2016, I relocated to Dubai after living my entire life in the UK. I worked as an ESL teacher in London before moving to Dubai. Prior to joining SBS, I taught at two British schools in Dubai. In my free time, I like to play football, practice martial arts, travel, and actively support my two sons in their social and academic growth.
I completed my MA in Linguistics and Education at Goldsmiths, University of London. For nearly eight years, I have been teaching English to non-native speakers. I find it extremely fulfilling to teach students who are just starting to learn English. Witnessing their progress and improvement in language abilities brings me great joy.
As an English Inclusion Teacher, my primary objective is to aid students in overcoming literacy obstacles and helping them complete GCSE English as a Second Language successfully. I joined SBS this academic year and have been thoroughly enjoying the excellent academic atmosphere and dedication the school provides to all its students. It feels great to contribute to the school’s efforts to achieve its goals.
