I have a degree in Sociology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Local Government Management, both from the University of Warwick.
After University, I’ve worked for a range of organisations, including the School Library Service, an Energy Efficiency Charity and the University of Warwick. I gained a place on the National Graduate Development Programme (ngdp) and began working at Staffordshire County Council as a National Management Trainee. I completed my PRINCE project management training and enjoyed 2 years as a Project Manager in the Transformational Support Unit before moving to the NHS to be the Commissioning and Redesign Lead for Women and Children’s Services in Shropshire.
I moved to Dubai in 2014 and worked as a Vice Consul at the British Embassy helping British people when they got in trouble and performing marriage and citizenship ceremonies. I took a 5-year career break when I had my children before starting work at SBS.
