My favorite moments are when I see students have that eureka moment, applying their knowledge in new mediums. Technology is a fantastic tool for transference of knowledge and seeing them apply it in creating things with technology (Graphs, calculating movement in games) and so on!

About Me

I have always had a fascination of patterns and algorithms, so subjects such as mathematics and computer science I naturally enjoy. The most beautiful patterns and solutions often come from the convergence of mathematics and technology.
I love exploring new places and cultures. As a family we have travelled a bit, and we are looking forward to exploring this part of the world more.

My Experience

I graduated in Computer Science in New Zealand at The University of Auckland studying Computer Science, Mathematics and Psychology. After graduation, I worked as a Software Developer for over a decade in New Zealand, the United Kingdom and The Netherlands. On returning to New Zealand I did my teacher training majoring in Technology and Mathematics. I have worked as a Digital Technology/Computer Science and Mathematics teacher in the years since.
