I worked as a Head of BTEC and Head of Year 7 & 8 and found my passion in leading academics. I moved to Dubai young and eager to explore in 2015, and was met with the opportunity to connect with many new people and dive into a new culture, something I am extremely passionate about. Along with this, I also had the opportunity to try out many new sporting activities, that were not available in my hometown. I have spent the past 6 years living in Dubai exploring Europe and the Middle East in a more ‘off the beaten track’ way, travelling to those places not usually ventured by tourists, and trying to immerse myself in different countries and cultures. I am a big fan of music, particularly rock from the late 90s. One of my best personal memories was seeing Blink-182 in Manchester in the summer of 2018 with my childhood best friends.

Where do I start?! Being a teacher means there are so many ‘Best Moments’. I think my fondest memory, is a recurring one: Winter Festivals. In the most recent winter festival, our ‘house’ members were dressed as elves and won the house cup with an outstanding performance across all areas, singing songs and just enjoying the season. Fieldtrips also hold a special place in my memories, as the study of Geography is done best when you are outside, in the elements, looking at the world around you.
