Christopher-Costello

My name is Christopher Costello and I am a qualified Primary School Teacher from Ireland.

About Me

My educational history involves a Higher Diploma in Primary Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities, specialising in the subjects of English and Human Development (Child Psychology, Sociology and Philosophy).

Hobbies of mine include athletics, musical theatre, movies and reading and I enjoy integrating these interests into my lessons. By nature, I am a hardworking, dedicated and compassionate person who always gives one hundred percent in both effort and enthusiasm. I am committed to instilling a love for education within my students. Together, we will have fun, develop our skill sets, work hard, progress academically and socially, flourish holistically and ultimately achieve our very best results.

My Experience

I taught for three years at home in Ireland before moving to Dubai to work as a founding member of a British Curriculum school. In my two years in this school, I developed my teaching skills and gained vast experience in school leadership as I assumed the roles of Key Stage 1 Leader and Primary English Coordinator. I joined Safa British School in September 2019 as a Year 2 Class Teacher. The past years in Year 2 have been extremely fruitful for me and I have furthered my skills across all aspects of the curriculum. In addition to this, I have two years of experience working as a middle leader in the school as Head of Moral, Social and Cultural Studies. What I am, is a teacher who is passionate about education. I am a confident and competent educator who strives  to  achieve  the  best  results  from  myself  and  my  pupils  at  all  times.  I  enjoy  creating  a  learning environment that promotes enthusiasm in learning and involves active participation from the children. My aim is to create a cross curricular learning experience, which employs a variety of teaching methodologies enabling the students to flourish holistically in school and subsequently in their personal daily lives
