After graduating in 1998 with a degree in Arabic language, literature, and Eastern languages from the university of Alexandria, I made the move to my first teaching job at the British School of Alexandria. I have completed diploma in teaching in 2002. I made the move into leadership as a Head of Arabic and Islamic in 2002 then moving to take the local manager position of the school in 2006.
Teaching, curriculum, and coaching are my expertise, I have been a member and leader of many committees to develop Arabic and Islamic curriculum in Egypt and UAE over the years, as well as working within international school environment in Egypt, I have been lucky enough to continue working with a variety of colleagues across a range of schools across UAE. I’m originally from Alexandria in Egypt but I have been in Dubai 12 years. I moved to Dubai with my wife and two children in 2010, now I have 4 daughters, outside of work my main passion is sport especially football. Aside from football, I like reading and travel.
BA Arabic Language, Literature and Eastern Languages
There are so many special moments, as a teacher of language and leader, the best moment in teaching is when I see the achievement of students and the faces of students on results day.
