We at Safa British School are absolutely delighted with our first full cohort of GCSE results. The outstanding results show the exceptional growth the school has undertaken and as we mark our 20th year in Education this milestone is an excellent start of our Key Stage 5 journey.
Mr Brian Horwell and his team have ensured the value added of each and every student and the impressive results comparing to UK Schools and other schools in locality remain impressive especially as Safa British School is a fully inclusive school.
But these results are for the students and their families and we could not be prouder.
I am delighted for our Year 11 cohort, as they have established a benchmark for our younger year groups to aim for! Across all curriculum areas, our students have excelled and posted a set of results on par with the very best international schools. Our progress figures (with all grades an average of +1.9 grades above a student’s CAT expectation) highlights the skill, commitment and expertise of our teaching team, and the strength of the relationships between our students and staff.
Personally, I am even more excited for the next step, with the opening of our specialist Sixth Form area, and the opportunity to work with this cohort of young people, as they continue their educational journey into A-Level and BTEC studies. Our future is very bright… and as a team, we look forward to supporting our students to reach their full potential.
