There are so many to choose from, but I would probably have to say the fieldtrips! Whether you are in Blackpool or Buenos Aires, taking students out of the classroom is always amazing; it brings the subject to life and is an essential part of studying Geography.

About Me

Since being a child, I have always been passionate about studying Geography. Geography is a fantastic subject as it is incredible to see how human and physical events shape the world that we live in. This passion led me to study Geography at degree level and I graduated from Northumbria University in 2016. After I graduated, I completed my PGCE in Secondary Geography in 2019 and have never looked back. So far in my teaching career I have experienced working at both independent and state schools in the UK as well as at an international school in Qatar. I am passionate about helping young people achieve their potential and always try to inspire them to make a difference in the world.

My Experience

Away from teaching, I have a passion for music and I have been playing the guitar for over fifteen years. I particularly enjoy rock, Britpop and indie music and I love going to gigs. I have seen some amazing bands over the years such as the Rolling Stones, Blur and the Arctic Monkeys. As well as my passion for music, I also love sport and being active. I enjoy football, golf and running and can’t wait to play golf in Dubai where it doesn’t rain every day! Finally, I enjoy travelling and experiencing new places, cultures and foods.
