Link your landscape to David Hockney's work
- Students will create a landscape based on their native town/country
- Students can choose the image they would like to use to create their landscape adding their own style and interpretation.
- Canvas prep and gridding can be done before the event
- Digital art is allowed
- Distance learners can take part if you choose them from years 4-6 but they will have to have their camera on so that you know it is their own work
- Any media can be used, this must be decided and organised before the start of the competition
- 5 children from each year group
- Teachers to choose the best landscape painting and post under the appropriate padlet link for the judges
- All children will receive a certificate thanking them for their participation
- The winners will receive a Landscape Artist of the Year certificate and a medal
